Anzac Day ...

The Ode

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning.

We will remember them.

The Ode comes from For the Fallen, a poem by the English poet and writer Laurence Binyon.

This is were my grandfather is at rest, in a lovely country town called Gloucester, N.S.W. My Nanna would have been at the Dawn Service today, she is 91 Years of age, and I'm quite sure Nanna and mum would have been out for a visit with Grandad today.

The Ode always makes me get tears as well as the Bugle when it plays The Last Post.

Thinking of you always Grandad, with much love and gratitude for what you have done for us and our country.

Lest We Forget
